Upholstery

A self paced training and paid apprenticeship program which provides extensive instruction, guidance and the time needed to learn and master the trade of upholstery/ home decor sewing.

Sewing

A self paced training program which provides the extensive instruction, guidance and the time needed to learn and master the trade of soft furnishing sewing.

Partnering Apprenticeships

Students gain hands-on experience by apprenticing with our partnering workrooms, where they learn valuable skills from industry professionals.

Where the Magic Happens

Inside our 3,200-square-foot workroom at 1100 Wicomico St in Baltimore City, creativity, craftsmanship, and community come together every day. This vibrant space is first and foremost the home of our hands-on upholstery and sewing apprenticeship trades program. It also welcomes visitors as a remnant and fabric showroom, and our “Fabric Ready” furniture showroom. Every corner of the workroom is open to the public and designers alike—inviting everyone to learn, explore, and be inspired.
