All students will be assisted in opening a savings and checking account and taught basic banking skills. Skills will include balancing a checkbook, budgeting and savings.

All students will have the opportunity to participate in healthy eating classes. They will be taught basic gardening skills, couponing, grocery shopping on a budget, easy and healthy meal prepping and proper storage of food.

All students will have free access to washer and dryer (Reisterstown location only).

Students ready to leave our apprenticeship programs and move forward in their career will be assisted in creating a resume, a LinkedIn page and connecting to potential jobs of interest. They will have the opportunity to participate in mock interviews with professionals in the field and be assigned a social worker to assist with any obstacles that might arise and provide emotional support.

All students are offered Maryland Transit Assistance Charm Cards and volunteer pick up and drop off assistance is given to any student who is unable to travel to class alone.

Students will be provided assistance obtaining any governmental services (Medicaid, Food Stamps, Disability, etc.) they qualify for and also supported through the transition of no longer receiving governmental services.
